MTL, an abbreviation for Mouth To Lung, refers to drawing vapor into the mouth and then inhaling it into the lungs. It is a general term given to electronic cigarette atomizers that users employ for a cigarette-like draw. For users who use MTL atomizers, meaning those who use cigarette-draw heads, it is an acceptable term to call the suitable liquids for these heads MTL liquids. What Should MTL Liquid Be Like?
- Since high ohm values are reached in MTL, choosing liquids with high wicking power will both increase vaping pleasure and reduce your expenses by requiring fewer cotton changes or ready-made coils.
- In MTL (cigarette-style) Atomizers, a throat hit, or cigarette sensation, is expected before flavor. In this case, you should prefer liquids with balanced VG and PG ratios for MTL. Choosing liquids with 50%VG and 50%PG ratios will provide a better throat hit. Liquids with 60/40 or 70/30 ratios can also be preferred.
- In MTL liquids, the nicotine content is usually 6 MG, 9 MG, or 12 MG, not 3 MG as in DL (shisha style). This is because in MTL, you draw less vapor, so the nicotine value is increased to close the gap and provide satisfaction.
- Tobacco-flavored liquids are generally preferred for MTL liquids. However, MTL liquids don't necessarily have to be tobacco-flavored. You can use an MTL-specific version of any flavored liquid you enjoy. You can also choose apple-flavored liquid, biscuit-flavored liquid, pastry-flavored liquids, or candy-flavored liquids.
